Polarputki Whistleblowing Channel

 

Polarputki’s whistleblowing channel is a confidential tool to promote our company’s open, honest, safe and transparent operations. It helps us to maintain and develop our ethical practices while also improving the trust of our employees and other stakeholders in our operations. This whistleblowing channel is based on the Whistleblower Protection Directive of the European Union and the Whistleblower Act. Whistleblowing can be done under your own name or anonymously and personal data is processed in accordance with the obligations of the Data Protection Act.

Please note that customer feedback, complaints or requests for improvements purely related to the company’s activities should be addressed to the appropriate responsible persons.

 

What can be reported?

 

All Polarputki employees are required to comply with our company guidelines, policies and legislation that apply to our company in their work. If a person suspects misconduct, they can report it through this channel. Reports should always be made in good faith.

For example, reports may be made in the following cases: bribery, favouritism, falsification of information, misuse of company benefits, threats, pressure or harassment, misuse of position, and affiliations.

 

Who is the service for?

 

The channel can be used both by Polarputki employees and external stakeholders. In the first instance, we encourage you to contact one of the managers in our organisation. If you feel that you are unable to share your information openly, you have the opportunity to report your concerns also anonymously through this channel.

 

Confidential processing

 

The channel is hosted by an external service provider and the platform is encrypted and password protected. The identity of the anonymous whistleblower is therefore fully protected. Reports will be processed by Polarputki in accordance with the law and in confidence. The name of the reporter will not be published and they will not face any negative consequences for submitting the report.

 

Processing procedure:

 

The reporter will receive an acknowledgement within seven(7) days of submitting the report. ​

We will inform the reporter of theactions taken within three (3)months.
